A Trip to Cali

After a long Sabbatical we are getting back into updating this blog. This week we went to California. It made me realize how much I miss my family. It's not as if I don't always miss my family, but some how being near them almost get me to reconsider living in California. I am sure I would only have the stamina to be there for a year.

It became apparent when we arrived that I s
hould have brought my Mary Kay things. Everyone wanted something. I have a large enough order now to get back into the business. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to keep up with the business.

On our way down we saw signs for the Western Science Museum. Since I want to work in museum studies and archaeology, we decided we needed to check it out. Though it was a small museum there was an amazing display of Archaeological Artifacts and Paleotological Fossils. The
re was
also a small entomological display. Every area had a hands on exhibit. We went with my nephew Xander and my sister Ruthie. Here is a photo of Ruthie building a tower.
Here are some other fun photos of the week.

This is my nephew Braeden trying to become king
of the mountain just before he slid back down.
He often landed on his face.
There were some Jam sessions

And fun games with extended family.
All in all it was a super fun trip.

It looks like you had a blast. How fantastic. Question: what would it take for you to get a museum job?

To be able to make any money at it I would need some graduate school in Museum Studies.
